The difference between a full and mini session

I truly believe that your photo session is about more than a holiday card.

I want to show you and help you remember the amazing world you are creating-

the love that’s there even when you’re frustrated,

the strong-willed child you are raising that becomes more mature and confident with each year that passes,

the relationship that is at times tested beyond what you thought you would ever endure,

and the love that persists day in and day out regardless of the world moving around you.

It’s easy to forget these things when you’re in the trenches of parenting.

My sessions are designed to give you moments to play, run, connect, and explore.  While I am insanely quick (ninja-like some may say), I don’t rush.  If someone needs a snack or a break, that’s okay.

A lot of the images I capture of kids are taken during down times and while they explore.

My goal is to capture all your different relationships- moments with each child, your children together, you and your partner, each child and their beautiful quirks, and so on.

Full sessions give families the chance to relax and fall into a groove, allowing all the wondrous moments of your session to be preserved.

But let’s be real, sometimes you just want a quickie.

Enter the Short and Sweet Session.

These are 20 minute sessions that take place at sunset in a pre-determined area in the North Phoenix area on set days.

These are great for grandparent sessions, a few updated shots of your family, an engagement session, maternity session, or a milestone session of your baby at their birthday.

However, these are not necessarily best for your family if:

*you have children that take awhile to warm up or are very sensitive/prone to meltdowns in the evening

*you want a more thorough gallery of images that showcase each child’s personality or your connection with them

*you want to choose the location, need a specific date, or want an in-home session.

I want you to have an incredible experience during your session, regardless of the type.

If you are trying to figure out what works best for you, let’s chat and we can make sure that you find the *best* session for your family in this season of your lives.
