Newborn Twins Session

Moms are superheroes without a doubt, and moms of multiples simply take the cake. The balance of feeding, soothing, and temperament differences is incredible.  

Upon entering Melanie and Brian’s home, there was a sense of calm and peace.  Turns out twins run in their family, so while they were surprised to be having two babies, it was something they were prepared for.  Brian is a twin and their bond is immensely close. This couple was simply made to be parents of twins.  

When I arrive, the babies are cooing in their bedroom, bottles are being washed, and the new parents are ecstatic to have their babies home with them after a short stint in the NICU.  

I meet and gaze at their precious baby boys and learn the differences that they see between the identical newborns- a slight difference in head shape and ear shape- the things you notice as a parent from staring at your babies for hours upon hours.  They are perfect.  

The best part of in-home newborn sessions is that the parents are more at ease and the babies are do not have to travel anywhere.  I mean packing the bag to get out the door when you are a new parent is not easy- especially when you have to pack for two babies!  And the icing on the cake is that their fur baby gets to be included as well.  

I cannot wait to continue to photograph this incredible family over the next year for their Milestone Package.  It’s bound to be double the fun!  (I know, awful dad joke/pun… but I couldn’t help myself!)
